Chocolate Box

I have 24 chocolates to put into a box. They are to be in equal rows. What might my box look like?

I tried putting six rows of four to see if it would equal 24 chocolates and it did!

  1. I Ayah,
Great to see you learning about arrays and multiplication.
I had a little go at this activity too, just for fun.
The link to my google drawing is here if you want to see how I put 24 chocolates into a box. Keep up the great learning.

    1. Hi Mr Cossey,
Thanks for commenting on my post. I really liked your way of putting chocolates into a heart shaped box. It made me laugh :)

  2. Hi Ayah,

I like how clearly you have shown your working out for this problem. This is a great way to arrange your chocolates in the box. I especially like this way as it would mean that the box is not too big to fit in my shopping bag. Are there any other ways that you could put the chocolates?

  3. Hi Mrs Zandbergen,
Instead of putting the chocolates into 6 rows of 4, I could put them in 8 rows of 3 and it would still equal 24.
