Kia ora! My name is Ayah, I go to Papakura Central School. I am in Year 4 and my teacher is Miss Henderiks. In my family there is my brother, two sisters, Mum, Dad, cat and I. My favourite food is burgers, chips, pizza, chocolate, lollies, and ice cream. My favourite movies are Instant Family, Secret Life of Pets 2 and The Heroics. In my spare time I like to draw, watch TV, and be creative. I love learning about inferencing and shapes. My goal for this year is to get better at reading.
I Ayah, Great to see you learning about arrays and multiplication. I had a little go at this activity too, just for fun. The link to my google drawing is here if you want to see how I put 24 chocolates into a box. Keep up the great learning.
I like how clearly you have shown your working out for this problem. This is a great way to arrange your chocolates in the box. I especially like this way as it would mean that the box is not too big to fit in my shopping bag. Are there any other ways that you could put the chocolates?

Hi Mr Cossey,
DeleteThanks for commenting on my post. I really liked your way of putting chocolates into a heart shaped box. It made me laugh :)

Hi Mrs Zandbergen,
ReplyDeleteInstead of putting the chocolates into 6 rows of 4, I could put them in 8 rows of 3 and it would still equal 24.
